Growing up during the turbulent times of the the cold war, Trajan Halley had to witness the construction of the Berlin Wall. He was raised in a christian family and found his love for photography early in life. His first camera had actually been a Christmas present at the age of 10 and, being a fast learner, he had already processed his first rolls of film in the family bathroom by New Years Day of that year. He began his photography with 35 mm format but later preferred medium format cameras.
After finishing school, he studied arts, art history, economics and law. Working as a lawyer, he lived in Berlin, London and Zürich, where many of his award winning works were created. Much of his early work was black and white and he still loves to work in that medium to this day. He later moved his family to North Florida where he found his true home.
Halley is a member of the Professional Photographers of America Organization and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Whether you're a new to Trajan Halley's work or a long time fan, you'll find his works truly inspiring and always a joy to own. Coming from a modest background, Halley emphasizes simple pleasures and inspirational messages through his pictures.
